December Birthday! – Hog Roast Truro

It’s certainly getting chillier outside now but we still enjoy catering for our wonderful customers all over the country with Hog Roast Truro. At this time of year, when it’s getting nearer to winter and it feels like it might snow any day, what better way to warm yourself up than with some steaming hot meat and roasted vegetables cooked especially for you by our dedicated team? While our hog roast  Truro rolls are super-popular at any time of year, when we offer the winter warmer menu of meat and veg in autumn and winter, it’s often thought of as the ideal food for an outdoors event. You just choose your meat and your seasonal vegetables in advance and then sit back and let us do the work.

For Tracey’s December birthday celebration yesterday, she asked us to cook at her family home for a small group of family and friends with a Hog Roast Truro. Regardless of the size of your party, a hog roast centrepiece is always a welcome attraction, with sights and tastes that blow your mind and smells that linger in the air and make you want seconds or more. On this cold, windy day, Tracey thought a hog roast Truro feast would bring a smile to her guests’ faces and warm them up from the inside out, too.

Tracey asked us for a winter warmer menu of a small hog, some jacket potatoes and a tray of mixed vegetables, including carrots, broccoli, and swede. It may surprise you to know that all of these can be cooked inside of our hog roasting machine, as we place the veg trays and potatoes inside the machine, while the hog roasts above. Additionally, Tracey needed a vegetarian option, and asked us to bring along some vegetarian cheese to be added to some jacket potatoes, and checked with us that the veg would still be suitable, with it being cooked in the same machine as the meat. They are kept separate despite that and certainly suitable for vegetarians, so Tracey happily booked us in for her party.

Despite the cold and miserable weather, we had a great time serving lots of lovely food to Tracey’s guests and she was so happy with the service and food that she has booked us in for her husband’s birthday in January!
