Hog Roast Looe for a Pre-Exam Party for 40 students!

The norm is for students to throw a party after they have finished all their exams and they can kick back and relax for the summer, but the group of reluctant revisers who hired Hog Roast Looe last week decided to do it the other way round! With weeks of gruelling study and stressful exams ahead of them, the study group wanted to have one last night of fun and freedom together whilst they had the chance. They also wanted to do something extra special food-wise, rather than just opening bags of nachos and heating up frozen pizzas like they usually do at their garden gatherings. But with a tight budget, they were struggling to find a catering company who could meet their needs, until they contacted Hog Roast Looe! As we are able to provide exceptional food for any budget, the students were delighted that they could treat themselves (and get one up on their course mates!) without breaking the bank!

There wasn’t a text book in sight when the Hog Roast Looe team arrived with our fresh fare and high-class hog roast machine; instead the study group were busy getting the garden of their shared house ready for the evening’s festivities. We set up shop on the patio as requested and were bombarded with questions about our fascinating cooking process as they all watched the hog roasting through the glass panel at the front of our formidable Hogmaster machine!

As the meat neared completion and the side salads (which everyone agreed were infinitely more appealing and nutritious than their usual nibbles!) were being laid out on our serving table, the rest of the 40 guests began to arrive and the party was soon in full swing! The word ‘exam’ was banned for the evening as the Hog Roast Looe team distracted the students from thinking about the long road ahead in the best way possible with our budget-friendly and belly busting buffet! Everyone had a great time and they were all really glad they had the chance to unwind and tuck into some fabulous food before hitting the books. We only hope the students will get stuck into their revision with as much gusto as they got stuck into the buffet!
