With a Hog Roast Redruth hog or spit roast, we can wow your guests from start to finish. Your guests’ taste buds will be tingling once they smell our gorgeous homemade food, they will be licking their lips once they see it too, and then they will all be satisfied once they start eating it and they will certainly be back for more. We even ensure that all of your guests can enjoy our fantastic food too, so even if you invite vegans, vegetarians or those with a gluten intolerance or allergy (or any other diets), we can provide tasty dishes made by professionals who love what they do and love to make sure that everyone can eat our food.
We recently catered a wedding for a couple who wanted simple but tasty fare served at the reception, and for them, that meant our famous pigs in buns for the main course, but they also wanted to add some extra dishes too. We work with our customers to create the menu that they’re thinking of, and for weddings, that often means the menu of their dreams, with intricate details and posh courses. Nevertheless, one of our Hog Roast Redruth menus is sometimes already perfect for a bride and groom to be, and more often than not, that’s our moreish hog roast rolls, with hot, fresh pork and crackling, both sliced in front of you and your guests after sizzling away for hours on end, and topped with our own-recipe apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing.
For this couple’s wedding day meal, they also wanted some salad dishes and herby new potatoes served as well, and they needed a vegetarian option too, which in this case would be our popular veggie skewers.
Once the day of the wedding came round, our Hog Roast Redruth team headed to the lovely hotel venue and set up our equipment in the large marquee in the gardens. Soon, the hog was roasting away and filling the tent with sweet, meaty aromas, and before we knew it, it was time to prepare the salads, cook the potatoes and skewers and get ready for the queues to begin.
