Hog Roast Zennor Send Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs!

Last Saturday Hog Roast Zennor catering manager had the pleasure of catering for the lovely Victoria and Mark’s wedding day. Wedding menus are always fun to do and are such an honour and privilege to play such a huge part in the couple’s special day.  It was located in a picturesque woodland area, somewhere you would imagine fairies would come to meet. A magical place for Hog Roast Zennor to cater in. 

Hog Roast ZennorHog Roast Zennor thoroughly enjoyed the menu that Victoria and Mark carefully selected. It was a three-course meal starting with our rustic, mouth-watering Antipasti boards. The boards are made up of a selection of fine Italian meats, gourmet cheeses and flavourful artisan breads, accompanied by the condiment’s virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The Antipasti boards are always a crowd pleaser and displayed as a culinary art masterpiece onto wooden boards. 

The main event and the most popular main course Hog Roast Zennor offer is our decadent slowly roasted hog roast served with golden, crunchy crackling, indulgent sage and onion stuffing which is poured into the juices of the pig as its cooking for extra taste and our traditional sweet apple sauce. Even though our hog roast always takes center stage, the accompanying dishes are just as important. Victoria and Mark chose roasted new potatoes, chef’s own pasta salad (a heavenly bowl of pesto pasta, pine nuts and grated parmigiana) alongside crunchy, sweetened coleslaw and a fresh seasonal mixed salad. A great choice. 

Save the best to last…. Dessert! It was the first for Hog Roast Zennor catering mangers as the bride and groom had decided to go off-menu and request a trio of mini desserts – yum! Of course, here at Hog Roast Zennor we go above and beyond to cater for our client’s requests, especially on the best day of their lives, so a delicious trio of desserts is what they received. They choose a royally luxurious mini lemon cheesecake, a delightfully rich mini chocolate cake and a sweet, multi-layered dainty pecan tart. This trio of mini desserts were served with the finest double pouring cream – perfection!

The newlyweds expressed their gratitude in a warm, heartfelt email to the catering manager and the team the following day, which we are always grateful to receive.
