Catering for a Wedding – Hog Roast Plymouth!

If you’re planning your wedding, you’ll know that the food served on the day is an important aspect, and you’ll need to know that dedicated professionals are taking care of everything necessary. From preparing, cooking and serving tasty food to ensuring dietary requirements are covered and providing a service second to none, Hog Roast Plymouth does this and so much more, while taking pride in securing the little things on the day and knowing just how important all of the big things are. We always go above and beyond in order to exceed and not just fulfill our customers’ expectations and we provide a wedding menu that’s designed by you, whether you want a simple, informal meal of our famous pigs in buns or a formal, detailed menu with several courses, a drinks service and canapés served.

When Rick and Muve asked us about our Hog Roast Plymouth wedding menus, they were happy to hear that we encourage our customers to create their own, and they could do so by mixing and matching items from our menus or by suggesting something different. Having both enjoyed our pigs in buns in the recent past, they knew they wanted them for their buffet main course, but they also wanted a starter and dessert, both served to the tables, and a vegetarian option for 3 of the 40 guests. While most of the guests would be dining on pieces of succulent pork and crispy crackling, topped with our own recipe apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing and crammed into fresh bread rolls, the three vegetarians would be served grilled veggie skewers, with yummy halloumi and various vegetables. All the guests would be able to eat the starter of homemade vegetable soup with croutons and crusty bread rolls, as well as the selection of homemade desserts.

Our Hog Roast Plymouth team arrived a few hours before the food service on the day of Rick and Muve’s wedding, and after roasting the hog, cooking the soup and grilling the skewers, all to perfection, it was time to serve some lovely food, to be finished off with the choice of a gorgeous fresh fruit salad, profiteroles or vacherins of strawberries and passionfruit cream.
