Hog Roast Pendeen Saved The Day With Our Diverse Menu Options

While food intolerances, dietary differences, and flavour preferences are just a part of life for the majority of us, they can make putting together a menu that will please everyone seem like an impossible task. So, when Janice drew the short straw and was placed in charge of arranging the catering for her mum’s 70th birthday party, while her siblings took care of the venue and decorations, she was at a loss on where to begin her search.

Having catered for Carol’s wedding anniversary last year, she had experienced the full diversity of our menus first hand and recommended that Janice give us a call before throwing in the towel.

Speaking to our hands-on catering manager, Janice explained that among the 80 people on the guest list, there were around 15 vegetarians, 5 vegans, a handful of fussy children and a couple of people with gluten-intolerances as well. After being faced with so many brick walls, Janice was in shock to discover that despite our name, Hog Roast Pendeen offers a fully comprehensive range of dishes that can be combined to make an entirely bespoke menu.

For this occasion, the Hog Roast Pendeen team recommended our southern slow roast menu featuring BBQ pork butt, cajun spiced whole roast chickens and creole pulled quarter of spiced lamb for the meat enthusiasts, with grilled veggie skewers for vegetarians and vegans, homemade hotdogs for the kid and inclusive side dishes for everyone to enjoy. Janice couldn’t have been happier with the suggestion and was so relieved that she wouldn’t have to resort to serving up finger sandwiches and crisps for such a special occasion.

On the day of the party, Hog Roast Pendeen had arrived hours early to prepare the feast so that when the birthday girl and her guests arrived, they would be greeted with a wave of delicious aromas. Just as Janice had hoped, the buffed offered something for everyone and as the party raged on into the late evening, the guests helped themselves to extra portions of the mouth-watering grub.
