Hog Roast Maxworthy – Community Centre Re-opening

Catering south mid week for a community centre they had had a refurbishment and wanted to celebrate and invite all the community along to come and see what had been done with a Hog Roast Maxworthy. We were asked to cater for approximately one hundred but we brought a bit extra, as we like to be prepared in case more guests arrive as they often tend to in events like this. We were asked to make a finger buffet but our finger buffet is unlike any other. We placed rows of sausages on the machine and brought with us some fingers buns to place the sausages in with lots of condiments sauces and mustards to name a few. We then placed some sausage rolls, quiche, mini pasties and pies on plates that we had baked earlier that morning we bake all our food even the buns and wraps. We then covered the tables with an assortment of fresh cold meats and cheeses and some chutney and pickles and of course lots of nice salads and coleslaw. As the guests arrived and the ribbons cut everyone was ready to eat and we had a crowd around us. But within an hour or so all were fed and as expected a lot more did turn up but it was no problem at all. The managing staff came over to personally thank us and they said they would like to book us again in the summer when they have their annual get together we said we would love to. As we set off home we were getting calls from people at the event all eager to book us and our emails were lighting up too!

We are only weeks into the year and we are busier than ever. Here at Hog Roast Maxworthy we really enjoy our job and we are at our happiest when busy and by the bookings received so far we are more than busy for the coming months ahead from customers old and new. That night we were out again catering for an engagement in our home town it was  such a busy but enjoyable day and night.
