Whiz, Pop, Bang for Hog Roast Pendeen

Hog Roast PendeenHog Roast Pendeen catered at a belated family bonfire night the other day. It was located on the family farm where they had created a mammoth bonfire at the centre of one of the fields, away from any livestock. Freddie had ordered Hog Roast Pendeen to cater for his 30 family members because as he stated, “he didn’t want the faff”. Hog Roast Pendeen’s menus cater for any party size and means that you can enjoy the party rather than running around making sure that everyone is ‘wined and dined’.

Freddie had opted for the whole roasted pig and had thought to please the wife added on mixed salad and coleslaw as well as butcher sausages which he claimed would be good for his young nieces and nephews. As the pig was feeding 30 guests, catering manager Sam had slowly roasted it for 8 hours on low heat. The long cooking time and low heat ensured super tender and juicy pork. The moist pulled pork was served with tasty stuffing and crackly crackling in a soft roll or wrap of the guest’s choice. The kids were thrilled that they had the choice of hog dogs although, they were super inquisitive about the pig. Freddie’s two adorable and hardworking sheep dogs enjoyed the pig’s ears. Freddie’s wife Steph joked and was also thankful for “some greenery” as she added helpings of the mixed salad and coleslaw on to her plate.

Hog Roast PendeenAfter the guests had enjoyed the delicious spread, they roasted marshmallows over fire-pits. They had made some pork rolls up so that the guests could nibble on them for the rest of the evening and filled up a roasting tray for Freddie and Steph so that they could either use it the following day for their Sunday roast or freeze it for another family meal.

The food was super, the company was super, and the food was super. An overall super night.
